Expanded and Summer Learning for TK–6

California’s expanded learning opportunities programs (ELO-P) focus on developing the needs and interests of TK–6 students through hands-on, engaging experiences in settings including:

- After school

- Intersession learning
Expanded learning programs are student-centered and results driven. They can include community partners and should complement, but not duplicate, the learning activities of the regular school day and school year.
